What are End Lamellas?
End lamellas are a stylish and functional accessory designed to create a clean, elegant finish on the exposed sides of your WoodUpp Akupanels installation. They cover the raw edges of the panels, providing a seamless and polished look that enhances the aesthetic of your setup.
What makes it special?
- Seamless finish: Provides a clean, polished look to your Akupanel installation, hiding raw edges.
- Veneered on three sides: Each end lamella features a high-quality veneer on the front and two sides, leaving the non-covered side to face inward against the wall.
- Two thickness options: Available in 22 mm and 67 mm thicknesses to suit different mounting setups (directly on the wall or with battens for added sound insulation).
- Easy extension: Can be extended by attaching two pieces together if additional length is required.

- For 22 mm thickness: Use for panels mounted directly on the wall.
- For 67 mm thickness: Use for installations with 45 mm battens behind the panels, which adds up to 67 mm to achieve sound insulation class A.

How do I install it?
- For 67 mm thickness: Ensure a wooden framework with 45 mm battens is installed. This configuration, together with the Akupanels thickness of 22 mm, ensures the thickness of the setup matches the 67 mm thickness of the end lamella.
- For 22 mm thickness: Simply apply the end lamella directly onto the wall using mounting glue.
End lamellas should be installed using mounting glue to maintain a seamless, clean look, as screws may damage the aesthetic. If preferred, small nails can be used with a nail gun for fastening, ensuring a secure fit without compromising the design.
How to extend the lamellas?
End lamellas are available in a standard length and cannot be custom-made, but they can easily be extended as needed.
If additional length is needed, simply attach two pieces together to extend the end lamella to your required size.

End lamellas are designed exclusively for Akupanels and are not suitable for AluWood.
